The Judeofuturism Project is excited to present 70 Seeds, a group exhibition imagining futures of American Jewish life, coming to Boston, MA in October 2026.

What will it mean to light Shabbat candles in 2070? To mourn, to marry, to raise a child, to wrestle with text, to be in service of community—in a world we cannot yet picture? What will it mean to be Jewish? Who will be sitting at your table, and whose table will you be welcomed to?

 

Produced by Becca Leviss of the Judeofuturism Project and curated by Aimee Rubensteen of MyFi Studio, the exhibition brings together 11 American Jewish artists working across visual art, performance, interactive installation, sound design, and digital media. Drawing their own questions and hopes of Jewish futures alongside speculative art, strategic foresight frameworks, and Jewish rituals and texts, the artists work in soft, gathered, and digitized materials to imagine textures of Jewish community, ritual, identity, diaspora, and belonging nearly 50 years from now.

This exhibition is not a prediction. It is an invitation: to see yourself in a future you can help shape. Join us for an opportunity to wonder, dream, wrestle and grow, together.

The Calderwood Pavilion at Boston Center for the Arts, Martin Hall

​Community members—artists, innovators, organizers, scholars, futurists, educators, students and leaders alike—are invited to join us in the exhibition space. Nearly two weeks of programming will accompany the exhibition, designed to meet a wide range of audiences where they are:

• Artist talks and curator-led tours with local partners

• Facilitated community visioning workshops and programming

• Shabbat services and ritual experiences rooted in futures thinking

 

The exhibition will also be accompanied by education and facilitation guides enabling community learning, adaptability and accessibility.​​

Digital Exhibition

Digital exhibition launches on October 27, 2026

Virtual tour and workshop on November 19, 2026 from 1-3pm ET.

We live in an increasingly digital world—and how we connect to and think about our Jewish lives is no exception. In order to ensure the accessibility and longevity of the exhibition beyond the Boston area, we are launching a digital exhibition platform to support virtual engagement and satellite programming. This platform will allow communities to utilize the exhibition and its accompanying facilitation guides as tools and frameworks for their own programming needs.

The digital exhibition opens October 27, 2026, alongside our Boston opening. On November 19, 2026 from 1-3pm ET, we will gather for a virtual tour and workshop using the facilitation guides. You can RSVP for the webinar and to be notified when the digital exhibition goes live here.
